Description
Diagnosis as for family = Apparatus unknown but includes nongeniculate and possibly geniculate, coniform, lamellar elements forming symmetry-transition series. Elements elongate, recurved to reclined, with rounded, nonkeeled anterior and posterior margins and more or less oval cross section. Cusp usually twisted with prominent lateral costa on each face. Basal cavity shallow.
